How Does It Help?

This self assessment should be viewed as a screening process only. It can provide useful information on what your symptoms signify, but it is not a comprehensive, in depth analysis of the state of your psychological health. However, research conducted by Professor Feinstein (co-founder of Safety In Mind) has shown that individuals working in remote and hostile regions who develop symptoms of emotional distress may be unaware of the significance of these symptoms and what to do about them. By completing these questionnaires, you can now gain some insight into these issues and receive guidance on how to proceed further, should help be required.

We at Safety In Mind also understand that the stress of working in remote and at times hostile environments may affect the spouses, partners and families of employees. The assessment tools contained on this website may therefore be used by all partners and spouses. They too can gain insight into their emotional wellbeing and receive guidance on how to proceed further, if necessary.
