Q. Can my company use Safety In Mind to do pre-deployment screening?

A. Safety In Mind is designed to be used as a focused and discrete psychological assessment. Results are available only to the individual taking the test. Safety In Mind is not intended to be used to assess a person's suitability for deployment or relocation.

Q. Can my family members use the Safety In Mind service?

A. Safety In Mind is designed for use with adults only. It is up to your employer to determine who is eligible to access the service with the confidential password provided. Only those individuals covered by your company's Employee Assistance Program or psychological support service should use Safety In Mind.

Q. How often can I use the Safety In Mind service?

A. Safety In Mind is designed to be used as a self assessment of various aspects of emotional wellbeing. It can be used more than once, although we recommend waiting at least one month before taking another assessment. If you feel that you need help at any time, it is important that you seek the appropriate professional assistance.

Q. Can I access my results at a later date?

A. If you need a record of your results it is best for you to print them out and keep them safely filed. Given our strict approach to privacy, we do not have a system that allows access to individual client records.

Q. Can I get in touch with you if I am concerned about my results?

A. Safety In Mind is not a treatment service. It is also not a substitute for a more comprehensive face to face assessment. If you have any concerns about your results or emotional wellbeing it is important you take this up with your company's Employee Assistance Program or your preferred medical support provider.

Q. Do you report my results back to my employer?

A. The answer is no. The only reporting back to the employer is related to usage rates and group statistics for the company. No individual scores are divulged. We take confidentiality very seriously.

Q. Can Safety in Mind help me get assistance if I need it?

A. The answer is no. Safety In Mind is not a treatment or referral for treatment service. If you have any concerns about your results or emotional wellbeing it is important you take this up with your company's Employee Assistance Program or your preferred medical support provider. It is incumbent on the those taking the assessment to reach out for assistance if it is required, Safety In Mind does not provide this service.

Q. What does Safety In Mind cost?

A. Safety in Mind is based on an annual subscription and them nominal fee per use. Subscription fees vary depending on whether a company wants Safety In Mind to cover just a single geographic region or provide worldwide cover. There are also adjusted rates for Not for Profit Organisations.

Q. Our company does not have an Employee Assistance Provider in place. Can we still use the service?

A. All companies are required to have an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or equivalent in place in order to subscribe to the Safety In Mind service. Safety In Mind is not a treatment or referral for treatment service. If you need help locating a reputable EAP provider please contact us at info@safetyinmind.com.

Q. Where is Safety In Mind based?

A. Safety in Mind is based in Australia. However, the service is available internationally.

Q. Is Safety In Mind only available for English speaking personnel?

A. Safety in Mind is currently only available in English. However we are looking to provide alternative language versions over the coming months. If you have a specific language requirement, please contact us at info@safetyinmind.com.

Q. Can I share our company log in code for others to use the site?

A. Each company is allocated a unique log in code that is to be used only by those covered by that company's EAP or equivalent program. Third parties individuals and/or organisations are not permitted to use another company's Safety In Mind subscription.
